Hello everybody. I’m Sally, and over the years St Ed’s seems to have come quietly into the Gatus household and has worked its way into many parts of our lives. Since having my children, we have participated in activities and celebrations such as Seeds after school on Wednesdays, Christenings, Sunday Band and Family services. My experience of working with children and young people from 0 – 18, has taught me a lot. Some of those experiences include involvement with Dringhouses Primary School gardening club, Goddard’s National Trust Pond Dipping and Forest Schools to name only a few. I am inspired to continue this journey, building upon my own faith, whilst helping our young people to learn about God. With a brilliant congregation, who are warm and welcoming, it’s not hard to understand why I wanted to be the Children’s Worker. With the support of such friends, my aspiration is to help build values such as honesty, kindness, faith and determination in all young people who come through the doors of St Edward’s Church.
